ADAPTERS If you have purchased a compact reader which does not have a PS2 connection or COMMS port you will need to purchase an adapter.
	PS2 ADAPTERS If you have a computer which does not have a PS2 connector at the rear you will need to purchase a Serial/USB adapter similar to the one opposite. The Compact Reader needs to be connected to the computer to enable it to draw power.

	SERIAL PORT ADAPTERS If you do not have a serial port at the rear of your computer you will need a COMMS port to USB adapter, similar to the ones opposite. These will come with software which will enable you to assign the USB port, where the adapter is connected, to be COMMS1.
