The performance of this company is based on 30 years of dealing with the Drivers Hours Legislation and chart analysis.  The company was formed in the late eighties on the retirement from the Staffordshire Police of two supervisory officers who had formulated the policies, for that Force, in relation to serious traffic offences and specifically Drivers Hours Offences.

In particular ALAN BRYS spent 8 years on the Traffic Division of the Staffordshire Police Force, covering trunk roads and the M6 motorway, half of that time in a supervisory role.  It was during this time that he was responsible for the formulation of policies in relation to the prosecution of tachograph offences.  The Staffordshire Police at that time were recognised as being in the forefront of Tachograph legislation enforcement.

Due to this expertise he was selected from the whole force by the then Deputy Chief Constable to work as the traffic expert within the Administrative Support Unit, with specific responsibility for the prosecution of serious traffic offences including tachograph offences.  On the introduction of the current legislation in he prepared a breakdown of this legislation, which was circulated Force wide.

Since the formation of the company we have provided chart analysis for all sizes of haulage concerns and have been consulted on the drivers hours legislation by solicitors, barristers and professional organisations.

We have been involved as expert witnesses in the defence of  hundreds of offences against both drivers and companies and have only ever lost one case.  Our greatest achievement was to have a case involving 112 offences and over 20 drivers reduced to only 8 offences against 3 drivers, who were eventually given conditional discharges.  On every other occasion we have been successful in having the number of offences reaching the court either reduced or completely dismissed.

We have always sought to provide the most accurate analysis at competitive prices, aiming to give our clients comprehensive information regarding breaches of the legislation by their drivers.

We are now fully conversant with the downloading of driver's cards and digital vehicle units and the operation of the software to analyse this data.

We provide training in analogue and digital analysis, as well as working in association with partner companies, operating with our help and guidance, in these areas.
