Example Workforce Agreement for Mobile
Workers

This workforce agreement is between [name of
company], The Company and [the workers as specified below],
The Employees in accordance with the
provisions of the Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations 2005.

This agreement will apply to all [members of
the company or group - specify group i.e. Trunk drivers, night trunkers
etc]
within The Company (except those bound by
existing collective agreements).
It is agreed that The Company and The
Employees are adopting options permitted by the
Road Transport (Working Time) Regulations
2005.

This agreement will remain in force for a
period of [specify period, not exceeding 5 years, after the commencement
date],
when it will cease to have effect or until
it is terminated by either party at any time giving [specify time - i.e.
3 months]
notice in writing to the other party.
The reference period for the calculation

Notes
The default period is a 17 week rolling
period starting on 4th April 2005.

The normal hours for night workers which is
classified as starting or finishing duty between 12 midnight and 04.00am
is 10 hours in each 24 hour period.
This does not mean a 10hr shift. This means within a 24 hour period
which
may include parts of two shifts. |
