Quickstart

If you login and see the error message invalid account, user, password, you should clear the boxes and re-enter the data.

If this error message appears 3 times the login will be locked out from that particular computer.

As well as entering the wrong data you will also see this message if you are not using the correct website to login.  This is why we stress that clients should always login via our website, where they will be properly updated on any changes.

The new version of the software requires new Active X controls to be installed so you might need to speak to your IT people who will have permissions to install these.

Firstly try the following.

1.  Login via www.tachochart.com.  The new website is http://www.vdo-tis.co.uk/, not

     www.tisweb.co.uk.

2.  The new Active X controls should automatically install, once you sign in.  If the invalid account

message appears, leave it for around 30 minutes and try again.

3.  If there is a problem installing the software go to the following link

     http://www.vdo-tis.co.uk/TISWebAgent/FormSoftwareDownloads.aspx

4.  Install the following downloads, TIS-Web Client Software Offline Installer,

TIS-Web Client Software Offline Update and Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable.

5.  If you are unable to install the new version, because of access permissions under Windows XP

contact your IT and they will be able to do it for you.

Also visit HELP INSTALLING NEW VERSION OF THE SOFTWARE and make sure that your browser settings are set to install Active X Controls and Add-ons.
